ESG Transparency Committed
Transparency is the foundation of trust – especially in times when ESG regulations are being scaled back and public debates are becoming more intense. With the “ESG Transparency Committed” quality signet, companies demonstrate a clear commitment to disclosing their sustainability strategies and performance based on structured ESG reporting.
This recognition stands for responsible reporting across the dimensions Environment (E), Social (S), and Governance (G), along with transparency in structure and traceability. It confirms that a company is willing to communicate its sustainability efforts openly and verifiably – a forward-looking step toward banks, rating agencies, business partners, employees, and the public.
The signet is based on a scientifically grounded analysis of ESG reporting, developed by EUPD Research. The focus is not on evaluating individual content, but on the systematic and transparent presentation of strategies, actions, and goals in line with international ESG standards.
Process
1. Submiting Your ESG Report
Submit your current ESG or sustainability report. Participation in the analysis is free of charge and non-binding.
2. Analysis of Your Reporting
Using the ESG Transparency Evaluation Standard (ESGTES), we assess the disclosure of your sustainability strategy – structured, data-based, and scientifically sound. The evaluation focuses on how clear and systematic your ESG topics are presented – not the actual impact of the content.
3. Licensing Your Status
If your report scores over 50 points in the evaluation model, you can officially license the status “ESG Transparency Committed.” This visibly positions your company as a leader in transparent ESG communication – both internally and externally. Optional handover formats and communication packages are available.
B2B Recommended
With the ESG Transparency Committed signet, you demonstrate to your customers, partners, investors, and clients that your company recognizes the importance of transparent ESG reporting – and is actively addressing it.
The signet enhances your credibility in strategic business relationships and positions your company as a future-ready, responsible market player.
What We Measure
The evaluation is based on the ESG Transparency Evaluation Standard (ESGTES), developed by EUPD Research based on international benchmarks, academic findings, and long-standing best practices.
Recognized standards and initiatives such as ESRS, UN SDPI, VSME, and others are taken into account – without exclusive reliance on any single framework or regulatory guideline.
The focus is on the transparency of your ESG communication. The assessment evaluates how structured, comprehensible, and open your sustainability strategies and measures are presented – not their content depth or legal completeness.
Evaluation is conducted across four dimensions:
-
Transparency
-
Environmental
-
Social
-
Governance
An AI-assisted, scientifically backed analysis is used. The sole criterion is the quality of disclosure, not its impact or normative classification. Regulatory and compliance aspects are not part of the ESG Transparency Committed assessment but may be considered within the broader ESG Transparency Award context.
