ESG Summit 2025 on 26 November 2025 – Dive deep into pressing ESG matters with fellow experts

The EUPD Group welcomes leading ESG voices at its third ESG Summit

Bonn, 30 October 2025: As part of the European Sustainability Week (ESW) from 25-27 November 2025, the EUPD Group hosts its third ESG Summit on 26 November 2025 at the historic Steigenberger Icon Grandhotel & Spa Petersberg near Bonn. In times of a dynamic political landscape, regulatory uncertainty and urgent Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) issues, the ESG Summit 2025 provides the stage for leading ESG experts from various industries to interact and develop new ideas.

The opening keynote by Ralph Thurm, Managing Director at r3.0, will focus on the challenges of current “sustainability-as-is” and the opportunities for “regeneration-as-needed”. Prof. Dr. Anabel Ternès von Hattburg, CEO, Sustain Plus GmbH / Managing Director, SRH Institut für Innovation & Nachhaltigkeit / President, Club of Budapest Germany focuses her keynote on “Impact over Image: The New Language of Sustainability – Why Honesty is the Most Powerful Communication Tool of the Future”. The closing keynote will be held by Dr. Robert Habeck, Vice-Chancellor and Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection (2021-2025), Federal Chairman of Bündnis 90/Die Grünen (2018-2022).

The ESG Summit 2025 features various presentations and interactive panel discussions under six session blocks, each one addressing a particular current ESG topic:

  • Session 2: Standards in Motion: ESG Reporting, Regulation & Governance
  • Session 3: Transformation from Within: Strategy, People & Social Responsibility
  • Session 4: From Data to Impact: AI, Data & the Twin Transformation
  • Session 5: Powering the Transition: Sustainable Energy & Industrial Transformation
  • Session 6: Shifting the System: Future-Proofing Through Climate Adaptation & Mitigation

In addition to welcoming leading global companies, the EUPD Group is particularly excited to host experts from academia, whose insights will enrich the discussions and inspire new perspectives across industries. Among them are

Once again, the ESG Summit 2025 will put a spotlight on those companies that have already anchored forward-looking sustainability concepts in their company and communicate these transparently in the form of a sustainability report by honouring them with the prestigious ESG Transparency Award. In addition, the EUPD Group will be presenting top-tier companies with the Brand Leadership and Sustainability Rating (BLSR) Seal, the SolarProsumerAward, the Energy Transition Award, and the Top Innovation Award.

The members of the ESG Transparency Committee as well as members of other committees and boards of advisors of the EUPD Group in corporate health and energy will convene at the ESG Summit 2025 and discuss current topics.
