I work hands on with ESRS based reporting, climate impact, circular economy initiatives, and value chain transparency. Expertise in this field is constantly evolving, and continuous learning and staying up to date is part of doing this work well. This is the kind of progress the ESG Transparency Committee aims to promote, and I look forward to contributing to it.

Transparency means making responsibility visible. This responsibility must not be limited to numbers alone, but demonstrates real impact on the environment, society and good corporate governance. Participating in the ESG Transparency Committee means actively building trust and driving sustainable change.

Alexandros Katsiampoulas is the Group ESG Performance Director at TITAN Group, with over 25 years of experience in the cement industry and a long-standing focus on environmental, health & safety, and sustainable development. He has played a key role in shaping TITAN’s ESG strategy, including its 2025 ESG targets and long-term net-zero CO₂ vision for 2050, while strengthening transparency and stakeholder engagement. His work focuses on ESG performance, climate action, and credible sustainability disclosures, contributing to TITAN’s recognition as a sustainability leader.

Als Wirtschaftspsychologin mit Schwerpunkt Arbeits-, Organisations- und Personalpsychologie treibt mich das Thema Nachhaltigkeit sowohl beruflich als auch privat an. Seit etwa drei Jahren beschäftige ich mich mit Nachhaltigkeitsregulatorik im Versicherungsumfeld und habe die CSRD-Implementierung, insbesondere im S1-Bereich zu eigenen Arbeitskräften, bei uns im Unternehmen aktiv mitgestaltet. Die Weiterbildung zur Certified Sustainability Officerin (DVA) im Jahr 2025 hat mein Praxiswissen zusätzlich fundiert und meinen Blick auf ganzheitliche ESG-Themen geschärft.

I have been working in the field of Sustainability for over 20 years across sectors including construction, FMCG and retail. More recently I have been responsible for producing ESG disclosures that deliver to stakeholder requirements and the growing regulatory landscape, the latter being a core focus as we prepare for upcoming regulations including the CSRD and UK SRS.

I started working on ESG in late 2022, together with the responsibilities I had at that time. In 2023, I was appointed Senior Manager for Sustainability, and ESG became my main responsibility. But this is an old topic, as I always strive for the best use of resources (material, human, capital and goodwill), so I couldn’t be more motivated for the role. Currently, the topics I’m focused on are water and energy consumption, but also the circular economy and waste management, together with European environmental legislation revision.

Klimaschutz ist das wichtigste Thema überhaupt für die Menschheit. Wenn die klimatischen Bedingungen nicht mehr stimmen ändern sich die Lebensprioritäten enorm. Wir stehen kurz davor, dass dies passiert. Daher möchte ich als Informatiker und Software-Unternehmer mit allen Mitteln dazu beitragen, dass wir einerseits selbst als Unternehmen ESG-seitig so agieren, wie es für den Planeten und die Menschen und Arten darauf erforderlich ist, um Leben und nicht nur Überleben zu sichern. Andererseits möchte ich auch mit meinen Unternehmen hier Akzente setzen und dafür sorgen, dass die Probleme gelöst werden, die dem noch entgegenstehen. Sei es durch strikte Ausrichtung von Prozessen auf Nachhaltigkeit, sei es Datenerhebung für die Berichterstattung, sei es Aufklärung.

Als Abteilungsleiterin Nachhaltigkeitsmanagement/ESG bei der Dawonia verankere ich ESG strategisch – vom Klimafahrplan zur Dekarbonisierung des Portfolios bis zur transparenten Berichterstattung. For more than 10 years, I have been reporting on our developments in the ESG areas as Head of Sustainability at Adacor. It is particularly important to me not to view ESG merely as a reporting task, but as a genuine lever for transparency, credibility, and long-term impact. Within the ESG Transparency Committee, I aim to help provide guidance and to further develop relevant ESG topics in a practical and effective way.

My work focuses on integrating measurable social impact, sustainability governance, and transparent ESG reporting into our organizational strategy, for which we received the Excellence in Transparency award in our annual sustainability report. I joined the ESG Transparency Committee to contribute a Latin American perspective on social sustainability and to collaborate with global peers in advancing transparent, people-centered ESG practices.
